As You Like It is one of Shakespeare’s most popular and lively romantic comedies. Duchess Senior is banished by her sister, Duchess Frederica. Duchess Senior's daughter, Rosalind, has been allowed to remain at the court until she is suddenly banished by her aunt, Duchess Frederica. Disguised as a boy, Rosalind flees the court along with her faithful cousin Celia and clown Touchstone. They escape to the seemingly simple life of the Forest, where love notes grow on trees and music bewitches the air. Lost amidst the trees, they discover love and the freedom to be who they want to be. However, Rosalind soon finds her heart in peril as she instructs the man she loves on how to best woo a woman. After all, love is never simple and idealism is sometimes naïve.
